Dear Animal Advocate,

 As many of you already know we are trying to open an Animal Resource Center in Bridgeport. Many of you have shown incredible support but we still have not acquired the building from the City of Bridgeport. We are still trying to plead our case on how important a center where not only discounted spaying and neutering will be offered but also grooming. We also are planning on having Children of all ages visit the center for classes on Animal Safety & Bite prevention, & Responsible Pet ownership. For more information please click on the business plan below. Please let everyone you know that we still need support to acquire the building from the City of Bridgeport. If you live in Bridgeport PLEASE let your Council representatives know you think it is a win-win for the City of Bridgeport and for all of Fairfield County. If you live outside of Bridgeport please send a letter to the City of Bridgeport c/o Mayor Finch and let him know how strongly you feel about this project. This isn't just about humane education or discounted spaying or neutering. Think of it as ANIMAL SOCIAL SERVICES. As an animal control officer I feel that it is better to educate and help pet owners keep their animals instead of dumping them or turning them over to the Animal shelter.

Well, the proposal is out there. This is not done yet. We need to keep pushing and promoting BARC. The building isn't ours yet. So I still need your support!!
